Why Your Coffee Costs More

Coffee prices remain elevated, with arabica near 371 c/lb and robusta above $4,000/mt

Certified arabica stocks are at 18-month lows, while producers in Brazil and elsewhere hold back sales, keeping supply tight. Weather risks in Vietnam and Indonesia and security issues in Colombia add further pressure.

It’s not just coffee: cocoa prices are also surging, pushing up the cost of mochas and café treats. At the same time, local cost-of-living pressures—from higher energy bills and wages to new taxes and compliance rules—are squeezing cafés.

Unfortunately, these pressures mean we’ll need to make some minor adjustments to our pricing. We remain committed to keeping coffee accessible while ensuring quality and sustainability.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
